Zendesk is a cloud-based customer service platform that offers help desk management solution with customizable tools to build customer service portal, knowledge base and online communities. Itcallows companies to communicate with its customers via various channels. With the Zendesk connector, we ingest customer support data, metrics and attributes from Zendesk instances in an enterprises into the Intelligence Platform so as to offer Analytical Insights over ticketing metrics, SLA performance and support satisfaction performance. This integration enables the Digital.ai Operate and Monitor Lens.

Steps

  • Step 1: Create a new user account in Zendesk for Digital.ai. Preferably with admin privileges as it helps in faster extraction of data.

  • Step 2: Generate an API token for this user.

  • Step 3: Provide the Zendesk credentials in the Source Instances page of the Digital.ai application.

  • Step 4: Log in to the Digital.ai Admin Site using the URL and enter your credentials.

  • Step 5: Select the correct instance name from the list in the selector. In the Properties tab, Select Application Connection.

  • Step 6: Enter the the User Name and password credentials for Zendesk instance.

  • Step 7: For the URL requested in End Point URL field, enter the URL to point to your production Zendesk instance.

  • Step 8: Enter the password and/or API token in the API Token field.

  • Step 9: Test Connection.
