The ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM) is a industry leading ITSM solution that provides scalable workflows to manage and deliver IT services to your users all through a single cloud-based platform. The NOW Platform offers a number of ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request with an underlying CMDB. It also provides Incident and Problem resolution workflows and users can access these capabiltiies via mobile or web-portal interfaces. The Intelligence ServiceNow Connector enables the integration and extraction of all IT Service Delivery data into the Intelligence data lake and platform in order for us to provide you with Analytics over all the extracted data. This enables us to offer a rich set of pre-built metrics over a number of entities and attributes with an underlying unified data model. This data powers the Digital.ai Operate and Monitor Lens, the Change Risk Prediction and the Service Management Process Optimization solutions as well as provides a rich set of production environment and operations DORA metrics for the various other Panoramic dashboards across all our Intelligence solutions.
Steps
Step 1: Configure basic ServiceNow authentication.
Step 2: Identify an existing (or define a new) user account with read access.
Step 3: Enable OAuth based authentication on your ServiceNow instance only if you have chosen the OAUTH_PASSWORD authentication type.
Step 4: Provide the newly created ServiceNow credentials to Digital.ai
Step 5: Log in to the Digital.ai Admin Site using the URL and enter your credentials
Select the correct instance name from the list in the selector.
In the Properties tab, Select Application Connection.
Enter the User Name and password credential for ServiceNow instance for Basic authentication.
If needed, enter OAuth Password for OAuth authentication.
For the URL requested in End Point URL field, enter the URL to point to your production ServiceNow instance.Step 6: Test Connection.
